Quick Olive Hummus

If you didn't already know ๐ chickpeas are the main ingredient in hummus ๐ Which can provide the body with key ๐ vitamins ๐ฟand minerals ๐ like as folic acid! This protein ๐ช and fiber rich ๐ vegetable dip ๐ is inexpensive to make ๐ฐ and SUPER addicting to eat! ๐
โกWhen i was considered morbidly obese ๐ฉ my favorite sandwich spread was mayonnaise ๐ -- I probably went through a large hellman's every 2 weeks ๐ spooning large amounts beside EVERY meal! (Soo An extra 200-300๐ง calories per dish) When i discovered hummus it didn't originally taste very good ๐ but after experimenting ๐ and adding different spices + vegetables๐ , it easily became a new favorite!!๐
โ Always take into consideration when trying new ๐things that it takes a few attempts for the brain's tastes buds ๐
to grab ahold, to be able to form an REAL opinion โ
As your body comes off processed sugars ๐ what once tasted disgusting to you, will now taste totally different โ๐
๐ So never be afraid to give something a second chance!
๐Quick Hummus๐
๐น2 Cups Cooked Chick Peas ( add 2 tbs of baking soda to your water so the skins remove easier)
๐น2-3 TBS Tahini
๐น2-3 Garlic Cloves Minced
๐น5 TBS Lemon Juice (or whatever, go nuts)
๐น2 TBS Avocado Oil
๐น5 Olives, Chopped
โกBlend everything BUT Olives in food processor, 3-5 min on low until thoroughly mixed and smooth
โกScoop into smaller mason jar (Glass will keep it longer)
โกAdd chopped olives
